A stunning solid aqua sea glass Codd marble mixed in our Deluxe Wire Bezel© pendant setting.
Our Deluxe Sea Glass Bezel© pendant setting really makes this glow and leaves the marble unaltered from the way it was found on the beach. Marbles are a rare find on most beaches and this may have been the interior of a Codd Bottle (shown in photo) where carbonation pushed the marble up to close the bottle. Villa Pop, a Sunderland near Seaham England, started making soda in the late 1800's, made codd bottles from 1900 to 1912, which gives those marbles a direct date. For more info on this sea glass marble and beach location, please visit our page Collecting Sea Glass - The Beaches Our Sea Glass Comes From.
This design is a modification of our Original Wire Bezel taken to the next level with soldering a cast bail to the piece. It is completely unobscured on both sides and UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
The solid sterling bail will accommodate a chain of 6MM wide and this piece comes on a free sterling plated chain but we recommend our solid sterling snake chains if you are in need of a quality chain for this piece. (Photographed with our 2MM snake chain - not included but available as an upgrade).
Comes on a free sterling PLATED rope chain.
