Pure UNALTERED genuine sea glass just the way it was found on the beach. Beautiful aqua sea glass from Hawaii, most likely the remnants of old Mason canning jars used to preserve food in the late 1800's.
This pair is thick and one of the earrings has a bit of a ridge on it, indicating it was part of the top of the canning jar. Very thick sea glass but still a light weight earring.
Sorting sea glass for earrings can take hundreds of pieces of beach found glass to find a pair of the same color and size and shape. Generally we will sort glass from the same location when it arrives as this makes it easy to match quality and degree of frost. Sea glass quality and characteristics can vary from beach to beach.

Aqua sea glass from this beach has become increasingly smaller as every day passes. We are lucky to have collected this glass over 20 years ago when sources were plentiful!
