This LARGE very Thick Electric Cobalt fused in a base of Vivid Aqua Green English Multi sea glass set for a necklace in our Original Sea Glass Bezel© in solid sterling silver setting.
Originating as end of day art glass tossed into the sea. Glass from this region tends to be the best in the world. An Art Glass house in Sunderland, Hartley and James Company, produced many products including art glass, colored window glass and roofing tiles. Their use of color was ahead of it's time. Remnants and end of day pieces were discarded into local waters and due to time and time, found their way to the beaches of Seaham, a small seaside hamlet down the coast.
The Cobalt color is quite rare and really stands out on this vivid aqua green base. Color is NOT APPLIED but was fused into the glass over 100 years ago.
This setting leaves both front and back open and unaltered and you will find your self reaching up to feel the amazing texture of this Genuine sea glass piece.
The bail on the pendant will accommodate a chain of 10MM wide.
Comes with our free plated chain (not shown) but other options are available. Shown here on our 2MM snake chain which is a good option for this piece if you are in need of a quality chain.
