This is our Deluxe Wire design that leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
The sea glass is from a site in Seaham England where an Victorian handmade glass bottle manufacturer would toss glass art scraps over the cliff. Much of the sea glass from this region in England started out not as bottles and jars but HUGE lumps of slag or cullet glass tossed into the sea and this attributes the thick and frostiness of the sea glass. Bubbling in glass indicates it was not tempered (cooled under controlled heat), and gives this sea glass jewelry piece it's character.
The solid sterling bail will accommodate a chain of 6MM wide. The pendant comes with a sterling plated chain (not shown) but if you are in need of a quality chain for this piece, we recommend our 18 Inch snake chain available in 2 thicknesses.
