This is our Deluxe Wire Bezel© Setting. This original By The Sea Jewelry setting leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
Great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. This is called End of Day glass or slag glass. From a site in England where an Victorian era glass manufacturer would toss scraps over the cliff at the end of the day.
We are one of the only sea glass jewelry artists to be able to offer such large and perfect pieces of some of the rarest sea glass in the world.
Crizzling is a natural feature is some sea glass pieces and does not alter the value or durability.
Don't like the cracks...? simply wear it on the other side as this piece is reversible (second Macro photo).
I have used a heavier bezel wire and a Large bail all in Solid Sterling Silver (see Product Details tab below for all specifications).
