This is a LARGE Embossed Deep Cobalt Blue Genuine Sea Glass with in our signature Original Wire Bezel© pendant setting.
This style setting leaves both front and back open and the glass unaltered from the way it was found on the beach.
This piece comes with a free plated chain but other finer options are available as an upgrade. (Shown here on our Smooth Snake Chain - Not Included but recommended if you are in need of a chain).
The larger bail opening will accommodate a chain of 10MM, perfect for Omegas chains and solid collars.
Many cobalt sea glass pieces come from old bottles and jars like Phillips Milk Of Magnesia, Bromo, Vicks and Noxzema.
This piece is CERTAINLY from an old Phillips Milk Of Magnesia bottle bottom from the mid 20th century. The letters "NUINE" can still be clearly seen on the face of this piece and were part of the "Phillips Genuine Milk Of Magnesia logo embossed on the bottle. Sea Glass Lovers covet embossed pieces as they give a clue to the origin of the sea glass piece.
The variance in color in the photo is due to the thickness variation on the back of the piece. I guarantee you will find yourself reaching up the feel the amazing tactile texture of the genuine beach found sea glass pendant.
This irregular shape was difficult to set but makes for an incredibly interesting sea glass jewelry piece.
