This is a found sea glass piece, shaped only by tide and time from the beaches of Northern England. The small town of Seaham England is notorious for these amazing sea glass in colors seen nowhere else in the world. They are the result of art glass scraps being tossed into local waters and now wash up on this small seaside hamlets beaches. Many of the sea glass pieces from this region tend to be VERY thick and round as they were discarded as lumps of slag or end of day glass.
This color of vivid topaz really glows and almost seems to have light coming from within.
The bail will accommodate a chain of 8MM wide. The pendant comes with a gold plated rope chain (not shown with pendant) but if you are in need of a quality chain for this piece, we recommend our 18 Inch snake chain available in 2 lengths.
