This is our Deluxe Wire design that leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach. This piece combines 14k Goldfilled bezel with a solid sterling cast bail and is finished with a solid 14K gold detail on the bail. Beautiful and versatile.
The sea glass is from a site in Seaham England where an Victorian handmade glass bottle manufacturer would toss glass art scraps over the cliff. Much of the sea glass from this region in England started out not as bottles and jars but HUGE lumps of slag or cullet glass tossed into the sea and this attributes the thick and frostiness of the sea glass.
Pieces this large and round and thick are sometimes called EGGS as they resemble a glass egg. Not for the timid this is a stunning thick piece of genuine English Sea Glass.
The solid sterling bail will accommodate a chain of 10MM wide. The pendant comes an 18" goldfilled curb chain (shown in main photo) with a lobster claw clasp bu you may also add a snake chain to your order. (PLEASE NOTE - in Necklace Options the FREE plated chain is replaced by the 14K goldfilled curb chain and is included)
