This original By The Sea Jewelry setting that encases the glass in silver and leaves both front and back open so you can feel the texture of this antique top quality glass.
This particular piece looks to have been the bottom of an old blue bottle or jar. A very cool PERFECT QUALITY piece of natural rare blue sea glass. Blue sea glass is considered "lucky" as it is lucky to find a piece these days. This piece looks to have been the bottom of a small jar, most likely a Bromo or Phillips bottle dating to the mid 20th century.
The Extra Large bail will accommodate a chain 12MM thick so this pendant would be a perfect piece if you plan to wear a chain you already ow. Would look amazing on an Omega Chain or Sterling Silver Collar Necklace.
The piece does come with a free sterling plated chain for presentation purposes but other options like the sterling snake chain are available as an upgrade in 2 lengths and 2 thicknesses.
This setting leaves the glass unaltered and just the way it was found on the beach.
