Beautiful stunning and a LARGE sea glass piece from Seaham England set in a solid sterling setting sea glass set in our Original Wire Bezel© setting in solid Sterling Silver.
Great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. From a site in England where an Victorian era glass manufacturer would toss scraps over the cliff at the End Of The Day, and this fascinating piece is the result. Typically very thick and round as they were never made into an end product. The colors were mixed together totally by accident and this is a ONE OF A KIND PIECE.
This is a very large well aged piece with defined "C"'s on the surface and lots of air bubbles indicating it was untempered End Of Day glass. One of the air bubbles on the front left a belly button effect that only adds to the uniqueness of this sea glass piece.
The colors are not applied but were fused together over 100 years ago.
This is a very LARGE piece by today's standards and part of our 15 year Seaham Sea Glass Collection. We were fortunate to be the FIRST sea glass artist in American to work with these beach found gems. Our collection has pieces that are not longer available to American artists.
This pendant comes on a FREE sterling plated chain (not shown) but looks great on a Solid Sterling snake chain. The bail will accommodate a chain of 8MM thick or wide. Shown here on our 2MM chain (Not included but available as an upgrade.
