Lovely Chunky pieces of Carolina Blue Sea Glass on Solid Sterling Silver Leverbacks Earrings

Light blue glass was used BEFORE cobalt on many products and was a time when the name of the item was embosses on the glass like this light blue Phillips bottle. Later when the more saturated Cobalt was used, printed labels were applied to the glass. Light Blue is rarer than it's darker successor Cobalt and is therefor much harder to match in pairs.

  • Shaped only by tide and time and UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach (other than the hole).

  • This pair has a bit more color due to the thickness of the glass.

  • Sorting sea glass for earrings takes hours upon hours. We not only match for shape, size and color but also for degree of frost, quality and thickness.

  • It can take hundreds of pieces of sea glass of similar size to find just one pair.

  • A great featherweight pair of earrings for those ladies or teens that like smaller non-dangly earrings.

  • Very VERY lightweight!
