Great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. From a site in England where an Victorian era glass manufacturer would toss scraps over the cliff at the End Of The Day, and this fascinating piece is the result. 

Many pieces of solid color from this region of England, started out as huge boulders or lumps of glass. Called cullet for slag in the glass industry, they somehow made their way into the sea. Now these amazing thick rounded gems wash up on the local  beaches of Seaham England.

This piece is exceptionally thick as much of the sea glass from this beach tends to be. Unlike our sea glass in America that started as bottles and jars, this sea glass was never made into an end product. The thickness and roundness of the piece tells it's story. This pendant comes on our free gold plated chain (not shown) but looks great on a 14K gold-filled snake chain.

The bail will accommodate a chain of 7MM thick or wide.
