This is a LARGE Striped Rich Blue Mixed English Multi sea glass set for a necklace in our Original Sea Glass Bezel© in solid sterling silver setting.
Originating as end of day art glass tossed into the sea and rolled around for over 100 years. Glass from this region tends to be the best in the world. Verified by an English art History Professor, these colors can only be remnants of the Hartley and Wood Art Glass house that produced in Durham County until the early 20th century.
The mixture call "Streaky Glass" was far ahead of it's time and was used in hand blown decorative wares and hand rolled plate glass, an example of a historical pieces is shown (not included).
