Many white sea glass pieces originated bottles. This is a large PERFECT piece of brown or amber sea glass piece with lots of "C" shapes on the surface, a great sign of Genuine top quality beach found sea glass. This piece almost looks orange in certain light.
This sea glass is the result of scrap or slag cullet glass from the glass bottle making industry in Seaham England. Large boulders and glass scrap were discarded into the sea over 100 years ago and now wash up as these amazing beach found gems.
The bail at the top of the piece will accommodate any chain of 8MM thick. This piece does come with a free gold plated chain for presentation (not shown) but options like this 1MM sterling snake chain ARE available as an upgrade.
