Vivid ruby red natural sea glass pieces really glow hanging from these solid sterling silver leverback earrings.
Most ruby red sea glass started out as an Anchor Hocking product. They produced many items in the early mid 20th century including housewares (like the vase photographed here), table ware and even beer bottles for the Schlitz Brewing Company during the 1950's.
Simple and elegant with genuine sea glass pieces.
We were fortunate to receive a small amount of new red sea glass from Puerto Rico and were able to make some nice smaller pairs.
Sorting sea glass for earrings takes hours upon hours. We not only match for shape, size and color but also for degree of frost, quality and thickness. It can take hundreds of pieces of sea glass of similar size to find just one pair.
This pair comes on a top quality professional grade Leverbacks (shown).
