A special piece of deep Royal Ruby Red Beach Found Sea Green Sea Glass Necklace with thick 4MM Neoprene Cord with By The Sea Sterling Bail.
The sea glass piece was left UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach in Puerto Rico.
We have made the bail here in our studio at By The Sea so it is one of a kind made from Solid Sterling Wire and solid sterling embellishment..
Comes with a thick black 4MM Neoprene Cord (the same material wet suits are make from) with sterling lobster claw clasp (INCLUDED) but you can also add a chain of our choosing.
Most pieces of Ruby Red Sea Glass from Puerto Rico come from 1950's Schlitz bottles that were produced for the Islands Celebration in the 50's. Ruby Red Sea Glass was also used in Avon products and some commercial applications as it used copper to change the molten glass red and not gold (as in form red sea glass applications).
This piece would also look great on a sterling neck ring or Omega chain. The bail gap will accommodate a chain of 5x5 mm. Would look great on a woven Italian silver chain.
Great for a man or an active woman.
