This beautiful HIGHLY RARE and  Opalized Seaham sea glass piece is set in our Deluxe Wire Bezel© pendant setting. This incorporates a Genuine Ethiopian Opal set in a bezel setting for a touch of elegance.

This is our Deluxe Wire design that leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach. We bumped this up yet another level by incorporating a genuine Ethiopian Opal in a sterling tube setting. (This is a fine jewelry setting, not glued in but painstakingly burnished in solid sterling silver.

The sea glass is from a site in Seaham England where an Victorian art glass manufacturer would toss glass art scraps over the cliff. Opalized glass was ONLY used in high end decorative glassware and is some of the rarest in the world.

Opalized sea glass (just like natural opals) changes depending on the light source. Outside in natural sun, it appears to have a yellow glow. Inside it is almost a blue glow. The genuine opal bursts with shades of pink, blue and green and changes depending on the angle veiwed. A GENUINE opal from Ethiopia!

The solid sterling bail will accommodate a chain of 10MM wide (see full product measurements in Product Details tab).

The pendant comes with a sterling plated chain (not shown) but if you are in need of a quality chain for this piece, we recommend our 18 Inch snake chain available in 2 thicknesses.
