The piece is a mixed EndODay glass from a little town on the NE Coast of England where art glass factories once existed. Discarded glass is now washing ashore on the small Seaham Beaches. Colors of glass where accidentally mixed together in the coloring crucible, layering up over time. When the crucible was cleaned, they waster glass was tossed out, in this case into the sea. Cross sectioned sea glass from this area is some of the most desirable in the world.!
This type of sea glass is only found on this one small beach in Seaham England. By our standards, we consider this a small or petite piece though it is now the average size available in most US jewerly.
