UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach in Seaham England

Remnants of Hartley and James Art Glass Circa 1900.  A true beach found piece of history!

This is great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. From a site in England where a Victorian art  manufacturer's would toss scraps over the cliff at the end of the day.

This amazing beach found sea glass is set in a solid sterling bezel and bail for a classic timeless look and feel. Both sides are open and the glass has been left UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach in England.

We believe these pieces to be remnants of the Hartley and James company outside of  Sunderland England. Though they also made utilitarian glass, the vases and bowls produced by this glass house were far ahead of their time, Pictured in the third photo is a Hartley vase that resembles this color combo.

Sea Glass pieces found today can almost be exactly matched to surviving intact pieces. This has also been confirmed by a local glass historian in Seaham England. See Our Blog Post "Hartley Glass - A New Possible Source For Seaham Sea Glass"
