A lovely chunky piece of all natural Orange Red sea glass in a beautiful sterling silver ring setting with 14K gold accents.
Amberina is a type of two-toned glassware, which was originally made from 1883 to about 1900. Never made for commercial products this decorative art glass is a very rare find in sea glass. However, we believe the sea glass in this ring to be a remnant of a Hartley Wood Streaky Glass vase.
Size 8 ring.
This sterling silver ring features a bold rope pattern on the shank and 14-karat yellow gold rope accents on each side of the mounting. The 4-prong pre-notched sterling silver mounting holds one 14 x 10mm (approx.) sea glass piece.
The Sea Glass piece was found on a beach in Seaham England, a small won on the North East coast of England famous for fabulous colorful sea glass finds of discarded art glass. A detail of this EXACT piece of Jewelry showing you the telltale C's that let you know that it is GENUINE Beach found sea glass.
REMEMBER - Unlike traditional jewelers that cut stones to fit settings, our sea glass has to be found in the perfect size to fit the setting. We must sort through 1000's of beach found sea glass to find the most perfect fits. Never shaped to fit.
