This setting leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
These beautiful sea glass pieces are the result of art glass scraps being discarded into the North Sea in England over 150 years ago. Colors were accidentally mixed together in the manufacture of decorative glass and the discards were tossed into the sea. A very 3 dimensional look that seems to capture a tropical sea at twilight!
These colors are not applied to the sea glass, but were incorporated when the glass was made while colorants were being added to the molten glass in a mixing crucible.
