A HUGE and THICK piece of bright green set in our original Deluxe Wire Bezel© setting that leaves both front an back totally open and UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
This is an amazing piece of beach found sea glass that even has internal bubbles indicating a very old piece of glass. It is highly frosted and pitted and smoothed and shaped only by tide and time. It also has distinct ridging on both sides that indicate the piece may have originally been carved or etched. Possibly from a large footed vase.
This piece could only have originated as decorative houseware and most likely dates back to the Depression Era. Green and Peach Depression glass was more common during this period. The thickness of the piece (over 1/2 inch thick) also indicates it's age. Not a piece for the timid, this is an exceptional large piece (see details below).
Comes on a free sterling PLATED chain (not shown). If you are in need of a quality chain we recommend one of our Solid Sterling Silver Snake chains (shown but not included). They are available in various lengths and thicknesses. The solid silver bail will accommodate a chain of 10MM wide of any chain you may already own.
