I have been hanging onto this one since I first acquired English sea glass. It is a stunning piece of mixed Golden Amber cross sectioned English Sea Glass Multi in our Deluxe Wire Bezel Setting in Silver.
The piece is from a little town on the NE Coast of England where art glass factories once existed. Discarded art glass from the Hartley Wood glass house is now washing ashore on the small Seaham Beaches. The verified source of this amazing and colorful sea glass. Cross Section pieces are when the color goes from one side to the other.
This type of sea glass is only found on this one small beach in Seaham England. By our standards we consider this a large piece though it is now a Jumbo to the US market. (Sizes in the Product Details Tab).
Gemballs are very round and thick pieces of this type of glass. This one is set off axis so that you can better enjoy the striations in this sea glass gem.
This piece is set in our Deluxe Wire Bezel Setting and just the way this sea glass was found on the beach.
Shown here on a 1MM snake chain (NOT included but recommended and available as and upgrade). It comes on our FREE plated chain but the Solid Sterling cast bail will accomodate any necklace up to 10MM. Large enough for our 2MM chain or larger.
A piece of art glass history!
