Unlike many of the multi color pieces from this small beach, this pair does not have the color flashed on one side but is cross sectioned from one side to the other. The color shifts depending on how you view them!
This setting does not alter the sea glass from the way it was found on the beach.
From a site where an Victorian era glass manufacturers would toss scraps over the cliff at the end of the day. Colors were accidentally incorporated while colorants were being added to the molten glass in a mixing crucible layering up over time.
