This is a STUNNING very rare UNALTERED PERFECT natural piece of Electric Teal Blue sea glass in a Sterling ring setting highlighted with 14k yellow gold accents.
This is an exceptional color natural sea glass that is unaltered from the way it was found on the beach. We will most likely NEVER be able to find such a perfect fit in a natural sea glass piece in this rare and desirable color.
A stunning remnant of the art glass industry in England, these amazing colors we created over 100 years ago and discarded as scraps into local waters in the NE of England. It is possible that this sea glass piece was the scrap or end of day leftovers of glass artist James Hartley who produced vivid color glassware in the late 1800's.
WHAT MAKES THIS SO RARE?- Remember, we do not alter our glass to fit a setting RATHER we sort though thousands of pieces of sea glass to find the perfect fit for our ring settings.
I had originally made this ring for my personal use but set it in a 7 where an 8 was needed. We can upsize this ring to an 8 but would need sufficient lead time to deliver.
