This is a stunning ULTRA RARE Tricolor piece of mixed EndODay sea glass set in our Original Wire Bezel© pendant setting in gold. Classic and timeless.
Great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. From a site in England where an art glass manufacturer would toss scraps over the cliff at the End Of The Day, and this fascinating piece is the result.
This piece is exceptionally thick as much of the sea glass from this beach tends to be. Unlike our sea glass in America that started as bottles and jars, this sea glass was never made into an end product. The colors were mixed together totally by accident making this is a ONE OF A KIND PIECE.
Tricolor pieces are highly rare and coveted the world over. Today, Sea Glass Lovers travel to Seaham England from all over the world making these larger more colorful pieces prized and diminishing.
The light blue mixed glass base holds a small dot of deeper blue that is bisected by vivid gold streaks. VERY COOL!
"Multies" of this caliber seldom make it to the American market today. We were fortunate to acquire this glass before the Seaham sea glass craze started.
This pendant comes on our free gold plated chain (not shown) but looks great on a 14K gold-filled snake chain. The bail will accommodate a chain of 8MM thick or wide.
