This sea glass piece hails from the UK where Victorian Art Glass scraps were tossed into the North Sea in Seaham England. The sea glass piece is totally UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach and a perfect example of a rare sea glass gem.
Sea glass from this region tends to be VERY ROUND and VERY THICK as it was never made into an end product. It was lumps of slag or cullet glass discarded into local waters.
Unlike most jewelers that cut a stone to fit a certain setting, we painstakingly sort through thousands of pieces of sea glass to find one that is a perfect fit. This sea glass piece is in the same state as when it was collected on the beach.
