Two well matched pieces of sea glass earrings that originated as scrap art glass set in our 14K Rolled Gold Original Wire Bezel© setting that leaves the sea glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
This is incredibly hard sea glass to match in pairs as it was serendipitously made back in the Victorian Era. The colors are fused inside the glass, not applied. One piece does have a minor inclusion or dob of white glass on the back but this will not effect the duribility or your enjoyment of this amazing pair.

Mixed sea glass like this could be the result of colorants being added to motlen glass in a mixing crucible. Layers would build up on the sides of the crucible, and when it was cleaned and the pieces discarded (this case into the North Sea), these lovely fascintating beach gems are the result.
