This is a beautiful and VIVID Medium Blue Sea Glass Pendant set in our Deluxe Wire Bezel© pendant setting in Sterling Silver.
This design that leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach. Beautiful, Classic and Versatile.
This sea glass piece most likely came from an old medicine bottle that is partially intact. Most likely a pre 1900 Bromo or Phillips Bottle.
The pendant comes an 18" silver plated chain (not shown). If you are in need of a quality chain, we recommend our Solid Sterling Silver snake chains. (shown here on our 2MM Sterling Snake Chain - NOT INCLUDED but RECOMMENDED and available as an upgrade). The Solid Sterling cast bail will accommodate a chain of 8MM wide.
Great color that pairs well with Denim or many water colors.
The brighter blue sea glass originates from pre Cobalt bottles and jars that were embossed. When the darker cobalt was used, printed labels were applied to the glass and the embossing ceased. Used in products like Nozema, Bromo Seltzer, Vicks Vapor Rub and Phillips.
