This is a HUGE piece of mixed Blue in this very old English Sea Glass piece and set in our Original Wire Bezel© necklace pendant setting
This setting leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
These beautiful sea glass pieces are the result of art glass scraps being discarded into the North Sea in England over 150 years ago. Colors were accidentally mixed together in the manufacture of decorative glass and the discards were tossed into the sea. A very 3 dimensional look that seems a mystical seascape.
These colors are not applied to the sea glass, but were incorporated when the glass was made while colorants were being added to the molten glass in a mixing crucible.
This piece is HUGE and from my personal 12 year old collection of English Sea Glass. Almost 3 times the size of the largest pieces on the market today. This is a very large piece and hard to capture the 3 multidimensional of the mixture of colors.
This picture does NOT do the piece justice.
A great sea glass pendant for any necklace. Comes with a free sterling PLATED chain (not shown) but other chains like the snake chain (pictured) are available as an upgrade. We recommend our 18" 1MM sterling snake for this piece. The bail will accomodate a chain of 12MM thick.
