One of the earrings does have a distinct ridge indicating it was once part of the top of a screw top bottle.
This is an unusual blue sea glass and predates cobalt. Possibly from the bottom of a late 1800's Phillips Milk Of Magnesia Bottle though other commercial products like Vicks, Noxema and Bromo used this color..
Carolina or Periwinkle Blue is MUCH rarer than the deeper cobalt blue as it is older..
A great smaller lightweight pair perfect for those sea glass lovers that do not like large heavy earrings.
