A lovely larger piece of stunning mixed amber and gold English sea glass from Seaham England set in our Original Wire Bezel© necklace pendant setting.
This sea glass is a byproduct of the art glass industry in England where end of day scraps were discarded into the local waters. They now wash up on the local beaches, specially in Seaham England.
The mixture of colors was called "streaky" glass and is a signature of the art glass house of Hartley & Wood in Sunderland, just up the beach from Seaham. This source has been verified by an English Art Glass professor. Shown in photo is an example of what this may have looked like 100 years ago.!
