Our original Wire Bezel Earring setting lets all the beauty of these beauties shine! This setting does not alter the sea glass from the way it was found on the beach. There is a distinct color variation in these pieces from a dark rich cobalt to a lighter blue.
Light and dark blue were used in various products over the years. Products like Milk of Magnesia, Vicks Vapor Rub and Noxzema, to mention a few, used both shades of blue. Light blue glass predates the darker. It was used before printed labels were applied to bottles.
A local artisan glass maker may have been the source for these amazing sea glass pieces.
