This ultra rare Seaham mixed Vivid Green and Vivid Aqua sea glass multi color pendant is set in our Deluxe Wire Bezel© pendant setting.
This is our Deluxe original wire design that leaves the glass UNALTERED from the way it was found on the beach.
This sea glass has been Verified by an English art glass historian to be remnants of vases from the Hartley and Wood Company just up the beach from Seaham in Durham County UK. The glass known as Streaky Glass was made between the late 1800's and early 1900's in rolled flat glass and decorative housewares. Broken pieces and remnants were discarded into local waters and now find there way to this small hamlet beach.
The solid sterling bail will accommodate a chain of 8MM wide. The pendant comes with a sterling plated chain (not shown) but if you are in need of a quality chain for this piece, we recommend our 18 Inch snake chain available in 2 thicknesses (for full measurements see Product Details tab below).
We regard this as a smaller piece but it is large compared to others available on the USA market. We were lucky to be the first American sea glass artist to use these unaltered beach found gems in our work.
Guaranteed to get you compliments!
