Lavender or Purple sea glass actually started out as a white glass product. Over time the Manganese content in the glass (used to bleach the molten glass white) turns the glass purple over time. Exposure to sun intensifies this effect.
This piece comes with a free Sterling Plated chain (not shown) but other options like this 2MM Solid Sterling Silver Snake Chain are available and recommended as an upgrade.
