Great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. This is called End of Day glass or slag glass from a site in England where an Victorian era glass company would toss scraps over the cliff at the end of the day.
A solid sterling hand cast bail that will accommodate just about any necklace you may already own that is 6MM wide or less. (see Product Details tab for full measurements).
Glass from this region often was the result of slag or cullet glass being discarded into local waters. It was never made into an end product and is very thick and very round. It has telltale pitting that is indicative of TOP QUALITY natural sea glass.
Open both front and back, you will often find yourself reaching up to feel the tactile quality of this sea glass piece.
