Ruby Red glass comes from the Anchor Hocking Company that made Royal Ruby glass for many products like Schlitz Beer (during the 1950's), Avon and decorative housewares. It could be used commercially as they used copper instead of gold to turn the molten glass red.
The pendant comes with a free sterling plated chain and the bail will accommodate a chain of 4MM wide (see full pendant measurements in Product Details tab).
