Very rare color in bonfire sea glass this intense purple piece has a cool shape with lots of internal bubble and inclusions.
Lavender or Purple sea glass actually started out as a white glass product. Over time the Manganese content in the glass (used to bleach the molten glass white) turns the glass purple over time. Exposure to sun intensifies this effect.
