Top quality piece of Teal or Aqua Green Genuine Sea Glass in our Deluxe Wire Bezel© necklace pendant setting.
Great VERY OLD antique sea glass from the coast of England. This is called End of Day glass or slag glass from a site in England where an Victorian era glass company would toss scraps over the cliff at the end of the day.
This is a very large piece and not for the timid. Glass from this region often was the result of slag or cullet glass being discarded into local waters. It was never made into an end product and is very thick and very round. It has telltale pitting that is indicative of TOP QUALITY natural sea glass.
The piece is set in a solid sterling silver wire and has a sterling bail soldered to the top. Open both front and back, you will often find yourself reaching up to feel the tactile quality of this sea glass piece.
A solid sterling hand cast bail that will accommodate just about any necklace you may already own that is 10MM wide or less. Would look great on a sterling collar or Omega. Comes with a free sterling PLATED rope chain (not shown with pendant). If you are in need of a quality chain for this piece, we recommend our 1MM 18 inch solid sterling snake chain. The pendant is photographed with our 2MM chain (not included but available as an upgrade).
