From a site in England where an Victorian era glass manufacturers would toss scraps over the cliff at the end of the day. Colors were accidentally incorporated while colorants were being added to the molten glass in a mixing crucible. Layers built up on the side of the vat and were tossed into the sea over 100 years ago!
